My grandmother Gallaugher taught me to use a needle when I was very young and I was hooked. Growing up, I was making doll clothes, my own clothes, and then my children's. While teaching for Stretch n Sew in the 80's, I was first introduced to quilting. In about 1994 while working for the local quilt shop teaching garment construction, I got hooked on quilting. Soon after, it became my main focus. A few years ago I challenged myself to change direction and start designing my own work. It was easy to make the transition. This has been an interesting road and I am enjoying the journey.
