I acquired my love of fabric and sewing as a child from my mother Myrna, the dressmaker.

Seventeen years in art school and a couple of art degrees kept the creative juices flowing.

Although I spent more than thirty years in the restaurant business, I still sewed every day, mostly garments until my little sister Sandee got me started on quilting. Boy, it has been a non-stop frenzy ever since. I still do garment construction, but quilting does not require fitting and I don't have to look good in it.
